Mastering engineer · Rotterdam-Noord

From chemist to conservatory to mastering engineer. Since 2003 my work has been about one thing: the final step of your release.

I was born in Ede in 1973 and discovered the guitar at fifteen. After studying chemistry I followed my heart and went on to study electric guitar at the Rotterdam Conservatory. That's where my fascination with the sound of records started — why does one record work and another doesn't?

That search led to my first mastering studio in 2003. Ever since I listen as a musician first and as an engineer second: what is the energy of the song, where does the feeling sit, and what does the track need to land?

No presets, no factory. Every master gets full attention on analogue gear in an acoustically treated room — and you're always welcome to sit in, at no extra cost.
